Lyre’s recreates the world's great spirits — entirely without alcohol.

Lyre’s was founded in 2019 in Sydney by Mark Livings and Carl Hartmann. The name points to the lyrebird — nature's great impersonator, able to mimic almost any sound.

That is exactly the idea: to rebuild the flavours of gin, rum, whisky, aperitif or amaretto so precisely that the glass barely betrays the difference. Today Lyre’s is sold in over 60 countries and widely awarded.

Mark Livings and Carl Hartmann wanted not a substitute but a genuine alternative for those who love the taste of classic spirits yet want to skip the alcohol. Rather than removing alcohol from a finished spirit, Lyre’s builds each flavour from the ground up.
