Ceder's joins South African botanicals with Swedish water.
Ceder's was founded in 2017 by Craig Hutchison (South Africa) and Maria Sehlström (Sweden) — a couple bringing two worlds together. The name nods to the Cederberg Mountains in South Africa's Western Cape.
Classic gin botanicals such as juniper meet Cape botanicals from the Cederberg, each distilled separately and blended with pure Swedish spring water. Since 2021 Ceder's has been part of Pernod Ricard.
History
A hike in the Cederberg
The idea was born on a hike through the Cederberg: native Cape plants that Craig and Maria wanted to bring into a harmonious composition — alcohol-free, yet with the character of a good gin.

The couple join the botany of South Africa with the clarity of Swedish water. From that meeting grew one of the best-known alcohol-free gin alternatives.
