The House
Alcohol-free wine by Darling Cellars
“DC” is the alcohol-free range of the Darling Cellars winery.
Darling Cellars lies in the town of Darling on South Africa’s West Coast, surrounded by vineyards. The winery specialises in Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz — Darling was declared a wine region in its own right in 2003.
The DC range brings this character to the glass alcohol-free: Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Rosé and a sparkling Blanc — fresh, expressive and carefree.
History
Winemaking on the West Coast
In Darling, cooled by the Atlantic, Darling Cellars makes red, white and sparkling wines (Méthode Cap Classique). The house is best known for Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz — the foundation for the alcohol-free DC range.
Terroir
Darling — the cool West Coast
Proximity to the Atlantic brings cool breezes and mist to the West Coast around Darling. Granite and shale soils and the maritime climate yield fresh, expressive wines — the base for DC.
