Kolonne Null makes alcohol-free wine a premium category.
The Berlin house was founded in 2018 by Moritz Zyrewitz and Philipp Rößle. Rather than owning vines, Kolonne Null buys vintage wines from award-winning family estates and gently removes the alcohol.
In a vacuum distillation process the wine is warmed to about 28 °C so the alcohol evaporates — low in calories, with no added sugar and vegan. The range spans Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc to cuvées and sparkling.
History
A Berlin ambition
With the goal of offering alcohol-free wine at the highest level, Moritz Zyrewitz and Philipp Rößle founded Kolonne Null in 2018. The key: working with award-winning family estates that supply their vintage wines for further processing.
